It's super strong, but it's like all the parts were made during an earthquake - nothing twists tight and the handle that fits over the fan blades doesn't twist at all. It's wobbly and the different pieces that fit together move when you touch it; nothing seems quite "solid". I know the brand name means next to nothing these days, but I expected a little more from a Black and Deck product. I will keep and use it as it is very difficult to return, it is not "broken" and will work as expected, but I will disable it if I ever need to get my hands on the blade assembly.
