I initially bought these headlights for four filaments. The stars looked quite attractive and I was pleased with them. I hung them outside on the porch in a mostly rain-protected spot, and neighbors and passers-by spoke positively about it. not be hung or stored outdoors for more than 90 days. It didn't bother me much and although they lasted over three months, after about seven months eight out of ten lights on one of the filaments went out. A month and a half later, the same thing happened with the second thread. So I bought two more strands to replace the two with problems. Then one of the two remaining original threads had the same problem. And finally, the last of the original strands completely ran out about nine months after it was first hung. Too bad the longevity expected from LEDs isn't there as I really love the star motif and haven't had any issues with rusting or deterioration of the metal sprockets themselves; The problems concern the LED lights inside. I will say that the low light reviews are correct. The brightness was good for my application, but if you hang it indoors in a relatively well-lit room, there's a good chance you won't be able to tell that the stars are lit.
