Thin but super soft.
I don't have a baby yet so I'm not quite sure how it will be. it is very thin but soft. But I gave 5 stars because I like that the surface is very smooth. Not just a hole in the middle. I used one with a hole in the middle on my first born and she deformed her head badly. I don't think it will. I'm happy to use it
