And this particular solar panel does NOT fold like that. I got this for camping and like to carry with me as I have a small portable power generator so my phone never runs out. I always charge my portable generator before leaving home when I go camping, but having this foldable portable solar panel to keep my generator charged gives me the security I need when hiking alone. When I was little my parents used to take us camping - a tent, a cooler and a lake nearby - I remember that and it's almost what I do - grab my tent, mattress, food cooler and a pitcher of water and I'm good for the day! But the late evenings are a different matter. I might want to stay up and if I have a tablet I can listen to music or read a book, both of which drain power from the tablet so the next morning the solar panel charges the generator and the tablet is plugged into the mains. Now this solar panel doesn't need a generator to charge phones or tablets, but I like it when they connect together and use the generator to charge items. it's just me But this solar panel will be with me every time I go camping!
