I loved using it on our covered porch for Halloween and Christmas to welcome guests with the right lighting and sound. Unfortunately, no matter what color you set it to, if you turn it off and then turn it back on with the wall switch, the bulb will go back to white. You have to manually reset it every time you turn it on. Considering how many of these products retain their settings when turned off (I have 3 different sets of multi-colored LEDs that do this) I think this is a pretty bad design. And they don't state that it works that way. I liked that it had an app instead of a remote control and the available lightbulb settings and options were pretty solid. But having to reset the color every night is a deal breaker for me.
