I have had these kidney grills for almost 10 months now. I live in Massachusetts, where winters bring months of freezing temperatures and thousands of pounds of sand. These kidneys show no chips or scratches after 10 months. They have an incredibly shiny black sheen that hasn't faded a bit since I opened the packaging. Considering the price, there is no better option.
