Review on JARDLI Glass Lily Pipe Inflow + Surface Skimmer for Planted Aquarium with 16/22mm (5/8'' i.d.) Tubing by Sarita Smith

The problem is that the aquarium has to be filled very close to the edge in order for it to work at all. The floating surface skimmer handle is too long so it will break suction when set low. This can be fixed by cutting the plastic tubing. It still doesn't work as a surface skimmer unless the water is only a few inches from the top edge. Unfortunately, I need the water level just below the effective range of the surface skimmer. I will buy the stainless steel type so I can switch accordingly. This can be a design issue even with expensive brands, so I still recommend this brand if that's the style you're after.
