Good guide; Tool kit included

This is the second mini room I have taken over and I was happy to find a good tool kit included especially at such a reasonable price. I furnished the room so that I would want to live in it myself, leaving out a few accessories that I found more annoying than useful. (I don't know how they expect you to glue a 2 inch wire mesh without getting huge blobs of glue all over it. Instead I made a banner with letters spelling my name.) I added four miniature white kittens that I ( bad) to look like my own cats. They're only 3/4 inch long so that was tricky but I managed to get them as close as they really look! TIPS: I recommend sticky glue for most builds as it's pretty strong and clear once dry, so it's ok if you're a little sloppy. Glue dots (from the scrapbook department) are great for small paper crafts that you don't want to hold their shape while the glue dries. They are essentially tiny, flat, sticky bugs that instantly stick to paper with good adhesion. If necessary, they can be cut smaller. I kept a bamboo skewer handy for applying sticky glue to tiny surfaces. You can also use a skewer to mark the fold lines if you don't have a pen. Your experience will be 90% less frustrating if you score all the fold lines. All in all a fun project, especially if you customize it. The little books are real books that I own; I scanned the covers and printed them very small. The cat themed mouse pad is a photocopy of my real mouse pad and the wall art and computer screen saver are images I found on Pinterest. While assembling I accidentally dropped a tiny perfume bottle that was sitting on a shelf and couldn't find it anywhere, so I made a candle out of a bead and a piece of wire instead. (Anyway, I'd rather have a candle than a perfume!)
