We recently moved to an area with very few street lights so I had to replace the light on my wife's bike. I have previously purchased a light from this company so I wanted to see a newer model. In short I was surprised to see a huge increase in performance and found this to be a truly amazing bike light at a very reasonable price. This new model is significantly larger and heavier, but retains modern USB C and A ports in addition to large reflectors behind the two LEDs. This lighting set has impressive performance with multiple modes of operation. In the brightest setting, I found the hotspot in the middle to be very bright and would only use it on trails to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic. Medium to low settings are ideal for driving on the road or around the neighborhood. This new model also has a second switch for a series of LEDs around the lens. Conveniently used indoors as a flashlight, these dimmer LEDs have a red mode to preserve night vision. The bar mount is easy to use and works well for 25.5mm bars but not for 32mm bars. Unfortunately I haven't used it long enough to comment on battery life, but I'll update after more use. Overall I love this light set and it definitely makes our evening commute that much safer.
