Too small for 12 gauge wire
Fits Christmas lights and other small wired devices, but connecting a 12 AWG outdoor wire to a 16 AWG wire will not work. The housing can ONLY cover the connection even when fully extended, but the real downside is that I had to remove the inner gasket to push the 12 AWG into the cable holder (the head fits, but not the cable).
