I love this product for my kids to use as a school pencil case. Cheap ones always break so I would like to see how they last a year and if they can be used next year the price will be worth it. It seemed spacious enough for the essentials. The only thing I didn't like was the narrower back compartment that allows the user to tip pens or whatever. This option is fine if you're just leaning forward, but if you're trying to store things in the compartment they need to be very short, or if you're storing pens the strap is the only thing holding these items. The rest of the pencil could not fit in the pocket when storing, since the manufacturer placed a storage box in the middle of the compartment in a non-tilted position. The only things that could be safely stored in the back compartment were crayons or tiny markers. On the plus side, the first compartment was large enough to hold children's crayons, crayons, erasers, glue sticks, and scissors. Now that they're a bit older they seem to find this product a great way to learn order and it looks cooler than worn out plastic pencil cases.
