I wanted something inexpensive yet effective to connect speakers to my TV. This device is perfect for this purpose! Easy installation and works great! I have a Harmony Hub to control my TV and Fire Stick and I was able to teach it commands from that remote so now I can control everything from one remote. Others have complained that this unit always starts in the line position, but this is perfect for my application as I don't use it for anything else. If I want to play something from my phone or iPad, I can just stream it to my TV! I've only been using it for about a week so can't speak for durability like some others.
