Review on XM1 RGB Gaming Mouse by ENDGAME GEAR - High-Precision PMW3389 Sensor, Vibrant RGB Mouse Lighting, Adjustable 50 to 16,000 CPI, Programmable Side Buttons, Durable 60M Click Switches, Lightweight 2.75 oz Design - Dark Reflex by Ryan Cornelison

I have an XM1R with a bad scroll wheel encoder - heard others have the same problem.

The scroll wheel had problems right out of the box and it took about a week to become completely unusable. Randomly scrolls up 2-3 pages which is very annoying when browsing the web. I also occasionally get small movements in the opposite direction, making it unusable in most games. I'll probably just try soldering a new encoder to it instead of spending weeks returning it. The mouse is fine except for the scroll wheel issues. My hands are larger and I've always used my palm and had to adjust my grip a bit to keep my fingertips from dragging. Standard mouse legs are very slow on hard mats, so consider the cost of new mouse legs if you need speed because they clearly won't cut it. The cable is quite decent for its price.
