After washing my hair with well water (while on vacation) and seeing how shiny my hair blow dry my light finally came on. My city water has so many chemicals (I smell chlorine) and it's hard water too. Also, I thought that coloring my hair, blow drying it, and using straighteners were all to blame for my straw hair. I've even limited blow drying to about 1-2 times a week and only use a flat iron about 1 time a month to keep my hair from looking too bad. I even bought hair oils to keep my hair looking and feeling good. Anyway, back to the light bulb: I found this filter to perform so well across the board, and I loved that it has 12 stops (more than others I've used). saw it and decided to give it a try. I installed it the same day I received it and the installation was so easy anyone could do it. Reading the instructions took longer than installing. As a realist I can be skeptical but always hopeful. Now after 4 days of use I can see a noticeable difference. I even blow dried my hair (last test) and my hair shines again. So happy and excited. I'm glad I bought it and highly recommend it.
