These seemed to be very nice socks and looked to be quite warm. Unfortunately, the elastic around the top is too aggressive for what I wanted, which is loose-top socks so I will be returning them. These socks came up in a search for "comfort top socks" and also "diabetic socks" and reading the reviews made me decide to take a chance on them. The elastic is quite tight and it definitely will make large dents in my legs at the end of the day which is what I'm trying to avoid. I'm not diabetic by the way, I just don't like that constriction as it isn't good for you. I gave these socks 4 stars because they seemed to be very nice socks and well made, just not for me.
