I really like this bag. It's elegant and minimalist. The shoulder straps are long enough to be worn over the shoulder without being too tight or uncomfortably long. They are also sewn firmly to the bottom of the bag and secured to the top with a metal button/bolt/hairpin (see image) to keep these straps from snapping easily. There is a longer strap that can be attached/detached if you wish to wear it long or over the shoulder. The only downside to the straps is that they are a little thinner. So when you're carrying a heavy load, the straps dig into your shoulder. I like that there is a center divider on the inside that is actually an extra zipped compartment to store things in. It's also sewn to the bottom so the two divided compartments are actually separate (some bags have a center divider but it's only sewn on the sides so small items in the two divided compartments can just be slid under the divider, which is pointless is ). On the outside wall of one of the compartments are two smaller pockets (a good size for a phone, pack of tissues, etc.) and on the other compartment there is a zipped pocket, which also has a gap between the lining of the bag and the outer skin. You can leave an item there for quick access, especially if your bag is zipped, but don't put small items in it like a lipstick or pen because this slot basically runs the entire length of the bag, making those items heavier can be obtained / found. Your phone might be fine - the pocket is deep enough and actually dark enough not to be very noticeable. On the outside of the bag you have an unsecured (open) pocket on one side (that's where I keep a pack of tissues) and on the other side a zipped pocket (that's where I keep my keys). The bag basically looks the same as in the pictures; Even the color is pretty accurate. This is a great bag for work or even everyday use. The leather seems quite durable and stiffer so it holds its shape quite well.
