We live in a townhouse so I bought this to hide the tray more discreetly at the entrance. It's sturdy enough to sit comfortably (with shoes) or as a place to store bags when entering the front door. It hides the tray well and does a good job of controlling odor (not great, but not surprising). I like that the legs are skinny and short but still lift off the ground. Very glad he is because he does his job well! This loses a star because it's not the easiest thing to build. There are instructions but a couple of holes were not clearly marked in the direction to install. I got it right in the end, but it took a while so be prepared.
