Review on ๐Ÿ“ฆ Set of 3 Brabantia Stackable Glass Food Storage Containers for Perfect Organization by Chris Nastanovich

beautiful, stackable, excellent print

These things are wonderful. I've been looking for a good place to store my many delicious teas for a long time. I ordered these in one of my first rounds and while they were perfect for my needs I lowered the price when I ordered more. After trying MANY other brands I finally gritted my teeth and ordered a bundle. Here's why they're worth the price: 1. They're beautiful, of good quality, and comfortable to hold. So many others I've tried looked or felt scruffy, not something I want my collection of fancy teas to live on. They are also pleasant to the touch and light, but at the same time they do not seem delicate and fragile. They take up the minimum amount of space for storage capacity. Many other more attractive and higher quality brands have huge lids that take up a lot of space, or a locking device that constantly catches on other lids and takes up space between the jars in the cabinet. They also have straight sides, meaning you won't lose capacity through excessive taper or tilt.3. They have a well sealed (tight) seal. I haven't done extensive testing, but the rubbery grommets on the lid certainly slide a few inches into the jar, which seems to seal it well for my purposes. (Something like coffee has a much shorter shelf life, so you might need something with a larger locking mechanism, but that's good enough for my purposes.) 4. They actually stack. The lids have a small rim that securely holds the bottom of the next can. And all the different sizes in this set will overlap as they have the same lid size. It seems so simple but I really had trouble finding it in my search. Many stacking systems have some sort of locking mechanism that makes them difficult to slide in and out of closets; something with a huge lid that takes up a ton of space. Or they could have flat lids that you technically /could/ put the next can on, but that would be an unreliable arrangement that will inevitably result in jars falling to the bottom of the cabinet if you're lucky, or cascading. bottoms and toes if not. It seems Brabantia no longer sells these new ones in the US which is why they are so damn expensive. I want them to start selling them again here, or for one of the other brands (I see you, Guzzini and OXO) to develop products that meet my criteria. These are now the best-in-class storage jars on the market.
