Review on Video card GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6500 XT GAMING OC 4G (GV-R65XTGAMING OC-4GD), Retail by Stanislaw Biedka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

The purpose of the purchase is a game plug in a home DLNA / NAS server (works 24/7). therefore, the coldest, and hence the quietest card was searched for. Well, not very voracious in terms of electricity. He copes with this task perfectly. 4 gigabytes of memory, in 2022 this will only be enough with a big stretch, it didn’t work out for fun to play AC Valhalla (but this is on a TV set from 4k (downscaled the image to FHD), on a regular HD monitor, the situation may be different). The games of 2022 pull with a bang, for example, Battle V (on FHD) is going great. After a month of operation, I regretted a little that I did not immediately pay extra 8 thousand (~ 30%) for the RX6600 (but there are no such prices anymore). You can take a much cheaper simpler version of the same card (with 1 cooler and a modest heatsink), but I repeat that I was looking for the most quiet and cold. At the first start there was a problem - the card started with the computer, but immediately stopped, the image was in artifacts and there was a slow ate of the image lines. Cured by ating the bios (yufi).

Pros
  • Fast delivery from , brought the next day, exactly at the time in which I wanted. Very quiet. Here it is completely. Cold, I won’t tell you the exact temperature, but it doesn’t burn tactilely, very good cooling: a huge radiator and 3 coolers after all. Economical in terms of energy consumption. The price, I took it for 22, for this money you can find a new 4 gig card, but it will be old generations from green ones or ala new ones (no) from Ali. Potential for increased performance when moving to PCI 4 (tests on the Internet show an increase from 0 to 30% depending on the scenario).
Cons
  • All disadvantages are extensions of advantages. Heavy, sags under its own weight (3 coolers and a huge radiator), you need an emphasis / stand. Not very gaming, 4 gig is not enough for games. Who wants to do rendering and video processing - forget it, it's all cut down to fight miners and with an eye on the gaming audience. Done of course not tyap-blunder, but close to it. The plastic is not cleaned up a bit (I removed the burrs with a scalpel) and the inscription GIGABIT is slightly crookedly printed (well, maybe a feature, not a bug).
