Review on 🔘 Borla 40358 Pro XS Muffler - Center/Offset Oval - 2.5" Inlet/Outlet - 14" x 4.0" x 9.5" Case Size - 19" Overall Length - Unnotched - T-304 Stainless Steel by Jack Ford

This muffler has a great sound. I have a friend who had this on a pickup and it sounds great; not loud. However, I set this to Pioneer 5.3 and it's a bit noisy for my liking. I think it sounds louder under my cockpit; while it's under his bed in the pickup so it's not too loud. The 304 SS material looked nice and the welds looked very nice (laser?) but. When I checked the tightness of the welds, I found a leak. And that's not from my welds, it's from the factory stitching on the muffler. I'm not sure about Borla's QA/QC processes, but I would suggest pressure testing before releasing to suppliers/customers. Perhaps the items featured here are sold at lower prices? I hit it with a tungsten stick for a few seconds and sent it. Three stars for welding defects and SUV cockpit noise, otherwise I would definitely recommend a pickup. All the reviews I saw before buying are from a pickup truck owner. Hopefully this will help the off-road/auto consumers. Sounds good. If you're okay with a little cabin noise for great sound. take action.
