Perfect for keeping the bike straight and helps keep the bike from wobbling when on my bike rack. It's also great for making it easier to load the luggage rack. So if you have one, put it on right before you put the bike up! This keeps the front end from wobbling, making it uncomfortable and a little dangerous for fingers. This simple strap is a dream. Using two would have been even better, but I split two packs so my fiancé would have one for his bike. One works fine! Must buy. It's worth it. We tried rope and velcro ourselves, but it wasn't as effective, safe, or easy.
