Review on πŸŽ€ Wrights Single Fold Bias Tape 117-200-055 Navy - 4-Yard Length by Nicole Mcleod

Good size for small projects

This is the right size for small garments such as doll clothes or when very tight edges are required. I fold the binding in half and press down before attaching it to my project. I attach this binding using a technique I found in a quilt book. Open the binding (after ironing it halfway), place the right side of the binding toward the front of your project and align the edges. Pin and sew along the first fold line. Fold the trim along the edge. This creates a seamless look on the front of your project. On the back of your project, fold the other edge under the tape (so you have a finished edge) and pin to your project. Sew close to the edge (but not the padding) on the front and hook the edge of the padding from the wrong side. This creates a narrow stitch pattern on the wrong side.

Pros
  • Made of 55% Polyester and 45% Cotton
Cons
  • Unfashionable
