Review on 🔍 Carson Fresnel Magnifiers for Newspapers and Magazines by Dave Brummet

I was disappointed with this increase. I'll admit I don't fully understand the optics and how the Fresnel lens works, but as I have a small wallet lens and found it worked very well for the small size, I think I grew up from this enlarged version go far . I understand that it needs to be held about 4 inches above the printed page, but still I find it's a very slight increase in pressure. 2X. I do not think so. Stiffness is better compared to flexible, and I can live with concentric rings, but there just isn't enough magnification to see a noticeable improvement in print legibility. If you really want to read fine print, spend a little more and buy a larger lens that hangs on your chest and hangs on a cord around your neck. One works and leaves your hands free.
