Review on πŸ”΅ Versatile Crop-A-Dile Blue Comfort Handle Punch for Eyelets & Snaps by Kristen Reid

Not good for self-supporting eyelets!

Was so disappointed in how he makes self supporting bushings. It works great for bushings with washers, but I had to buy other bushing pliers (pictured) to make the self-supporting ones because they are so awful with Crop-A-Dial. They are notched and look more flattened than like other pliers. The instructions even state "The back may be warped or twisted unevenly. That is normal". Well I have news for you, I have used your bushings and it is NOT normal to look like this. Other eyelet pliers twist them beautifully every time! Regardless of whether, No matter how many times I've tried (I've tried many pads I've bought from them), it's never happened with self-supporting ones. If you use the ones with washers it works great! I'll even say the ones with washers look great, but if you're making a DIY chain and want a smooth back, especially when sewing, you need something else.

Pros
  • SUITABLE FOR ANY SIZE OF PROJECT: The sliding measurement function makes it easy to adjust your layout.
Cons
  • disappear
