Review on A10 Thunder ADC by Jon Bishop
Very intuitive and user friendly with great integration capabilities
I like that it is easy for us as admins/developers who are used to working in kubernets environments (or any other container orchestration platform)to get up an running quickly without having deep knowledge of cloud-native tooling or even understanding how things work under hoods! We were able build out our CI pipeline very easily using this product but also got rid off some old tools we had been depending too much upon since they didn't support modern technologies such as Docker registry authentication etc..
It was really helpful getting started fast then making adjustments later when needed so less time spent building from scratch which can be costly if you have many developers involved!!
Pros
- The ability t connect with docker containers directly instead o going through external services, thus reducing latency between apps deployed across several servers..it does make debugging easier at times compared wth traditional dev frameworks i've worked before where all my environment setup needs would go into setting proxy server addresses within configuration files manually.
- Also helps reduce network related problems during development by connecting straightly inside Kubernetes pods vs proxying via internal networks..also allows better monitoring
