Review on πŸ”Œ Enhanced Connectivity with Edifier S2000MKIII Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers by Chelsea Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very satisfied! - Updated

Just arrived yesterday and 1 day later: Had high hopes for them and they won't disappoint! Incredibly easy to set up. Sturdy construction - they are heavy. The soundstage is great. Clear highs, the low frequency range of the driver is really something to be proud of. Detailed, realistic representation. Maybe a little positive, but of course it depends on the mix and the quality of the recording. Personally, I'm looking for a brighter sound with high frequencies forward and low back, and this is almost perfect for me. I used my wife's Galaxy to test aptx Bluetooth and there was an obvious improvement in audio quality when streaming - to the point where I don't think many people, including myself, could tell aptx apart. As a result, these sounds sound very, very good. Loud enough to easily fill a medium-sized room without being affected by higher volumes. I'm no expert, but I'd be surprised if there were significantly better value for money available in this area. I will update this if necessary but first impressions leave me very satisfied! Upgrade a few weeks later and I installed the speakers on Rockville wood/black stands with all cables discreetly tucked away and some nice decorative lights. .man i love it. Great home project for quarantine! Listened to music almost non-stop, looked through classics and favorites and found out new details about everything. Not much to say other than to say that I pushed the upper limits of the volume setting and thankfully these speakers handle the limits very well with no noticeable degradation in detail or sound quality. Very easy to set up and use and they just sound great to my ears. Very good in the depths and divided into all areas. I'm not a super bass player and actually used the EQ knob on the back to roll off the bass and it's still good enough. I have no doubt that I can compare them to much more expensive offerings. Only complaints are that the display is small and the controls are hard to read in low light, but there aren't that many buttons and it's fairly easy to remember which ones are where. I just couldn't justify the s3000 in the small space of my current apartment, but I'll keep a close eye on it if I ever need more performance. Again very satisfied and consistent with reviews and audio comparisons online.
