THESE GLOVES WORK. I had one that came with a very expensive hot comb and we lost it. These gloves are much softer and do what they are supposed to do - protect your hand from the heat and steam AND they are very good for the price. They serve to hold the hair in place for the short time it takes to curl, comb and iron. Because they're made from a stiffer jersey, they protect hair while styling by keeping HOT hair out. I only use one, I work with hair in my hand and keep my bare hand on the device. All the negative reviews are absurd lol some people just shouldn't leave their bubbles!
