Buy another mailbox that keeps mail dry
This is definitely a deep mailbox. It does not come with any instructions. The screws have to go in from the inside of the back of box. If you don't have a long flexible extension screwdriver bit for a drill, it will be difficult to install. The lid does not close fully by itself. Each day I see the mailman on my security camera drop the mail in and then come right back to push down the lid. I do not recommend due to poor quality and no instructions.
