These are well made, high quality Rockport shoes. Pros: Lightweight, comfortable for walking and even running, beautiful, well built and constructed. Cons: Does not breathe and is very warm if worn all the time indoors or in weather above 60 degrees. FI would give 5 stars but the shoe isn't breathable and keeps you warm. Cool weather below 60 degrees Fahrenheit is no problem, but temperatures above 60 degrees Fahrenheit will make your feet warm, sweaty and start to smell bad. I wore them on an international trip with long flights. The weather was over 60 degrees Fahrenheit and meetings were held indoors all day. My feet were constantly warm and damp and after about a week of wearing these shoes started to smell really bad. If you wear them outside in cooler or colder weather, they should be fine. But wearing them indoors, even with thin socks, will retain too much heat, won't dry quickly enough, and will stink pretty quickly. I wish they had made some air holes somewhere so the shoes breathe better and dry faster inside. Since these are not pumps and have higher ankles, this contributes to the warmth and impermeability of the shoe. The shoes are not only warm, but also very comfortable when walking or standing.
