Patterns better than solids
The last two photos are a purposeful and over dramatic slouch. I’m 5’1” 135lbs and have a bit extra around the middle from my two pregnancies. Standing up straight and normally the dress is great and very figure flattering. It is possible to make it unflattering though because it has a very very slight sheerness. I’m wearing a black bra in the photo and from behind you can see the silhouette of the bra through the fabric.Overall I love the dress and will be keeping it. It has pockets, which is great, and is extremely comfortable. I also bought the same dress in a solid "acid blue” but it was not as flattering. The solid color seems to show all the curves you don’t want to show. Definitely go with a pattern if you don’t want to accentuate every bit of extra fluff.
