This is a GREAT replacement that solved ALL the issues I mentioned about this model. Continuing with my original review, I thank WOHOME for replacing this unit with a working model. 5 STARS! I was skeptical the first second I took the box from the door. It was too light for the pack size. A quick unpacking of the box shows that the unpowered subwoofer is very light and powered by a narrow speaker cable. The AC plug contains a "brick," so get ready for a giant block sticking out of your wall, or a surge protector. After plugging everything in and turning it on, I was (pleasantly) surprised by the sound quality of the system as I scrolled through different styles of music. Everyone from the Allman Brothers to the Migos and even the Baba Booey in between seemed to have no hiss and the voices sounded "real" if that makes sense. For example, this person or this group is in this room with you. Very good sound. BUT. The soundbar has a mind of its own. Specifically, my remote only works within 2 feet of the soundbar. No, the IR sensor is not blocked. Fresh batteries (Battery NOT included. Requires 1x AAA). For the first time I've never seen a battery pack with a remote control for anything. Proximity issues aside, selecting a button like "Volume +" turns it off instead. Once in a while. Sometimes the volume is turned up. "Bass +" (a joke, by the way) lowered the volume. There are many possible combinations, I'm sure you can imagine. Thing is, I think the touchboard my buttons touch on the other side of my finger must have solder or seawater left over from the boat trip because it's not working properly. The Bluetooth function sometimes works. "Streaming" from my tablet or phone connected via BT, I was able to exercise for about 30 minutes and suddenly the music got worse, like my house suddenly went through a tunnel and I lost reception. It happened again, with multiple devices, and no that's not bad, Interwebz, because my mobile device was connected on full 4G bands, not AOL VoIP. It's like you're halfway to Stairway to Heaven and just when you think you're starting to sound like you should have been in a band too, just when things are getting good you hear CRACKLE CRACKLE.buffer .speed up, slow down, etc. Very annoying. No other BT device I own that I pair with the same tablet and phone has this issue compared to my identical 21st century connection. So, if you're comfortable pressing any button on the remote and the remote decides which button you deserve instead, and if you like the sound of a ballad crumpled in cellophane in the middle of your favorite song, and if you like standing at elbow distance from the device, try, Getting your AI remote to at least feel and respond, then the soundbar is entirely up to you. Reading the reviews I understand why it's so popular and why so many people think it's the best. These are the same people who still buy lightbulbs and mothballs because anyone who is tech savvy knows that's not how it's supposed to work. Buyer Warning.
