I bought this after a long trip out of town and needed some art supplies to keep me busy. This is a fairly complete starter kit for those who want to try acrylic painting. This is also normal for someone like me who is not advanced but is familiar with working with acrylic. The pigments are light but I didn't like the texture. It felt like cottage cheese as I blended and filled the brush. I used a metal pallet. Dried paint is easily washed off. I soaked it in soapy water and then wiped off the peeling paint. Here's an image I'm working on. The trees in the foreground still need work. The brushes aren't very good, but I enjoyed working with paints and brushes and I think the image looks pretty good on a canvas. The canvas soaked up the paint. There are about 10 thin layers of paint in this painting. I just love to draw. I hope this review and information helps those looking at this set.
