They are way better than compression stockings. The half sock offers enough compression, but when combined with the straps that come with it, it's amazing. So I can adjust the pressure to my liking. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate it. I thought that the sock and then the straps would interfere with putting my feet in the shoes, but I didn't realize it at all. They got in as usual. This is with regular socks, their socks and straps. However, there are three disadvantages. More expensive than compression stockings. If you only have a few or only one, you will find it difficult to have a new pair every day. You could probably wear them many times without washing them, but I'm a special person. Also, the straps were a couple of times too tight. My ankles felt great for a few hours, but suddenly they started to hurt a lot. I read this kind of experience in other reviews too. Don't worry, just adjust the straps. Despite all the shortcomings, they are worth their money. I just wish I knew how cool they used to be. I intend to get something else. I don't wear them every day, but when my ankles hurt or I know I'll be on my feet longer than usual, I definitely wear them. Oh yeah, they're easier to put on than compression stockings.
