Dark blue color same as pictures. You look great! Holds up well and matches the pillows. One side with a pattern, the back is plain with a flap instead of a zipper. The valve has a large bar so they are really secure. Seems well done. No random stitching or fraying. They are soft and suitable for both sleeping and decorating. However, velvet doesn't really keep you cool, so I couldn't use it in my bed. Someone mentioned that the back (not the patterned part) wasn't soft, so I almost didn't get it. I'm glad I did this because it's the same stuff. I'm not sure what they were talking about. Use them for a $10 Ikea 26x26 pillow (bought in 2019). They sit well but play a little. Not very noticeable when the pillows are fluffed up a bit. I blame the Ikea filler, not the pillowcases. The only criticism is that they only come in a pack of 2. We have 3 pillows so I have an extra cover that I will never use.
