Please see the update below - it's well worth the investment. So - I really want this box because it suits my kitchen and my needs well. The instructions seem simple enough - the construction is good - not bad. But the sliding door is not as wide as the caterpillar, it constantly slips out of the caterpillar. Gets stuck and causes frustration. I immediately wrote to the company - no phone, otherwise I would have called. No reply yet so I'm sending it back and depending on the other box I ordered I'll either get a second one of these or maybe try this blissful hell again. I like the box very much. I really want this to work. Heard about the company and they are sending me a new one. I am happy with this offer as long as the door opens and closes. I will therefore update it upon receipt. *** UPDATE ***** Received replacement box in time. Bamboo pieces are strong and definitely not cheap. Customer service is excellent - despite the lack of a phone number, contact is quick. They support their product, own it and fix the problem promptly. Everything has the potential for mistakes, but what matters is how the company fixes them. I recommend it. I love how it looks in my kitchen and it's very useful.
