I was tempted to give it four stars just because it doesn't cover the back corners. But when you open the laptop, you realize that this will be very difficult due to the way it is attached. It doesn't leave space there either, but if you have a touchpad model it has extra ports so they're as far away on the back as possible. Fit and finish are excellent. It fits just like you would expect a clear case to fit your iPhone. Rigid and safe with no gaps. It doesn't make any creaking noises and doesn't move. It fits perfectly. I chose the transparent color because I like the original space gray color that makes it look shiny. I bought it along with the palm rest, which I'm also reviewing, and it was excellent. So now I'm protected all over so that thing always looks brand new.
