This shower head is 100% better than the one in my caravan. I tested both the old and the new with the onboard water pump. Posted a photo of the old head. It looks like it's releasing a lot of water, but notice that it travels about 6 inches before falling and running out of power. No real pressure. It's nothing more than an atomizer. Oxygenics replaced (second photo). I was skeptical when a friend of mine, the original owner of the RV, told me to replace his factory head after a ride. I thought the Oxygenics ad was a bunch of hype. Not so. It works as advertised and is great. My photo from Oxygenics only shows 1/2 of the atomizer in action. I went from water dripping off an old head to heavy drizzle hitting the shower wall two feet away. Now I can shake off the soapy water. REVISION: If it drips a little when the latch is on in the handle, I thought it was defective. Not so. That's what the factory told me. " Our SmartPause valve does not act as a shut-off valve. It allows you to minimize shower pressure to a pencil-sized stream. This is a necessary safety feature as hot water can return into the plumbing if the water supply is shut off. This can result in that hot water enters the cold water channel and poses a high risk of burns. Your appliance works as it was designed. Good to know, right?
