Perfect fit for my 2008 Chevy Silverado. I'm not sure why things like this aren't made better at the factory, but I'm glad companies at least sell spare parts. You DO NOT need to remove the cover, simply unscrew the 6 screws to remove the back cover and then replace the broken part.
