They're more expensive than some of the other Fabreeze scented strains, but totally worth it if you're sensitive to strong smells like me. Regrettable perfume purchases and people with strong perfumes on the subway will give me a nauseous headache when I step off the train. When I found the free version of this fragrance I was a bit hesitant as I wasn't sure how well it "hides" some bad smells. I was worried for nothing, it worked great for my purposes. I have a bottle at home and a bottle at work. The home is for a coat if I accidentally drag a woolen one into a restaurant and smell like restaurant or cooking oil. I spray the fur and let it air dry, it gets rid of about 90% of the smell overnight. Sometimes it takes a day or two for the smell of oil to dissipate if it's really strong. The one at work is used for my shoes. I have several pairs of heels and a pair of running shoes under the table. Every time I use my running shoes, I put some Fabreeze on the shoes and let them air out overnight. When using dress heels, I lubricate the inside and wipe dry. They have done wonders to keep my shoe collection odor free under my desk. If you have more expensive shoes I would advise being careful not to get them wet but I don't really care about my leather shoes as they weren't too expensive and have held up great with this spray for the past few months. .
