I have been using moving lights outdoors and around the house for about 10 years. I find this product light and streamlined and have replaced other devices with it. After repeated failures of the glue, I exclusively used the loop at the top to hang the part on a small nail. It works well. The adhesive is not strong enough to withstand gravity over time. And as soon as a piece of metal falls out of the middle of the back, it's useless. Still, it's better to hang on a nail. If it was stuck to the wall too tightly, you couldn't (easily) remove it to change the batteries. I'm just sorry I had to figure this all out on my own.
