The water tank in our toilet is built into the wall, but we put an outlet and water valve nearby in case we ever buy a bidet. When we bought the A200 sink we found that it was impossible to easily connect a water inlet hose to our valve, even with various types of standard converters. The hose end A200 has its own design. Toto offers a T-connector to connect this inlet to regular 7/8" ball valve fittings on standard tanks. I called Toto and they have a converter that connects to a special valve that then has to be embedded in the wall. And it had to be closer than my existing valve, so some serious plumbing! My solution was to use a tee and plug the 7/8" female end of the ball valve with a hand made cap. I used the threaded plastic end of a cheap ball valve assembly, cut it off so I could use male threaded pipe and then made an inner cap with a rubber gasket in a 7/8" ball nut. Stupid, I know. accepts their proprietary hose end and on the other side a 7/8" male ball valve that connects to standard tank filler hoses . I just installed it yesterday, the device is working great so far. It was only the unexpected difficulty of installing it that led to my poor rating.
