I've wanted to create an art journal for many, many years, but never found one that really spoke to me until now. I purchased the 6" X 8" version with the heart on the cover. The presentation box is attractive, sturdy and well-made, but the book inside is truly a treasure. The leather cover is soft, buttery, beautifully stained, and exquisitely fragrant. The cotton paper is thick and luxurious, perfect for a multitude of mediums, including watercolors and moderately heavy inks. I am so taken by this little book that I'm ordering another one for my daughter to use as a pregnancy journal for our grandbaby-to-be.This item arrived on time and is exactly as described. The very few reviewers leaving less-than-stellar reviews either didn't read the product description accurately or aren't well versed in the smell of leather, the texture and strength of quality cotton paper, or the definition of "rustic". I rely heavily on customer reviews when purchasing from Best Buy, so I hate to see a superior product receiving inferior reviews. And this is, unquestionably, a superior product and worth every penny.
