Last year I received a horrible 'change drum unit' error message on my Brother laser printer and my heart sank. Brother's new drums are so expensive that it doesn't make financial sense to replace them, so most consumers just buy a new printer. It seemed expensive and wasteful, so I decided to replace the regular EZ Ink drum unit. The kit I chose included two drum units and toner cartridges at a much lower price than Brother's. Eighteen months later I couldn't be happier. I've been using EZ Ink cartridges ever since. There is no significant difference in quality or functionality between regular EZ Ink and Brother products. Everything works great and I pay less than a third of the cost. I print a lot in black and white, it's a huge saving. I had no problems at all with these cartridges. Highly recommended!
