I first bought it in April 2018. 20 months with no problems. If you install it properly, you won't even notice that it comes with a protective film. it's so clear and sharp. Well I dropped my iPad face down on the bathroom floor and when I picked it up I saw a broken screen. I was afraid that I would break the screen. But no, just a protective film. My iPad was fine. The protective film did exactly what it was supposed to do. Protect my screen. So I went back to my order history to see exactly what brand I bought because it saved my iPad. They have a replacement guarantee which I don't remember if I signed up or not but almost 2 years and only $8 I didn't care. It costs money. And I recommend buying this one. When installing, make sure the screen is really clean and dry, free of dust particles and has good adhesion. After installation, it had a few small bubbles on the edge, but these disappeared by themselves after about a day. I wish they would have done the same for my Galaxy S 8 Plus with the same type of setup.
