As others have said, don't buy these to wear as underwear. These are compression shorts and are therefore very, very tight. My height is 5'10, my height is 195-200 and my waist is 34-36 depending on the season. My thighs are thicker than average thanks to years of deadlifting and squatting. I bought "L" size because I bought this in "famous brand" compression shorts. I can hardly put them on my buttocks and thighs. Seems like I could easily have gone for "XL". So it's probably only a matter of time before one of the seams comes undone. However, I'm happy with the look and feel of the out-of-the-box design. I looked for thicker material; thicker than all but one pair of branded compression shorts I've bought in the last 3-4 years. So I would give these recommendations.
