Review on πŸ‘œ Slim Black Solo New York Rockefeller Briefcase for 15.6-inch Laptops by Jason Gay

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality and extremely protective. A beautiful computer case with many valuable and useful functions.

First of all, this case of Solo is very beautiful. I have several of these, in different styles and sizes - no, they just keep getting better and better. It has a very well made look, with external storage flaps with velcro closures. One of the flaps is something of a two-in-one design, providing even more external storage for a very thin bag. This bag has been well designed to provide this type of storage without the look of old style bulging and bulky bags. On the outside there are stylish and classic leather accents, which is rare for bags in this price range. I would give five stars for the looks alone. The shoulder strap is very durable and attaches well to the body of the bag. Contrary to the problems I've had with other brands, I don't see much chance of this strap breaking, chipping, or detaching from the main body of the Beetle in any way. The bag is reinforced with metal, also not necessarily with all bags. This makes me feel safe using the three tablets and laptops I carried in this bag (not all at once, of course). There's also a signature padded handle in case you decide to ditch the shoulder strap. Again - both carrying methods are durable and form fitting, they will probably at least last the life of the bag. As tablets become more sophisticated and more like a laptop, I sometimes move around with a tablet. Alone and without a laptop. For some bags, this maneuver can cause difficulties, e.g. B. excessive position shifts. A smaller tablet or laptop simply creates ideal conditions for various types of breakdowns. I didn't notice that with this bag. With my smaller iPad Pro and Mac Air, I was able to secure them in place and they didn't move during shipping. My Mac, which is the perfect size for this bag, of course fits perfectly and isn't a problem. Depending on the size of the machine you're carrying in your bag, you'll find that it can be quite roomy. There is a traditional space for storing pencils, pens and the like, but there is also a fairly spacious space for storing papers. Depending on the size of the device that occupies the bag, more or less storage space is available depending on the case. But even with my big Mac securely in place, I had plenty of room for a bunch of important documents, cables, and chargers. I carry extra cables with me so I was impressed that the bag was roomy enough to allow room for additional items that I expect my computer bags to fit in and be comfortable to hold without jamming like the bags many other brands. One feature that has already proven itself is the bag's ability to open and lay flat for airport or other security checks. This is a huge bonus, eliminating the frantic rush of opening the bag, taking everything out, and then stuffing it all back into your (previously well-organized) bag without eliciting hostility from anyone waiting in line behind you. As already mentioned, I bought several of these bags from my own funds. This should tell you something about the value I place on this particular brand of bag. Until recently I had never heard of "Solo" but NOW I've become an ardent fan of this brand. With this level of quality at this extremely affordable price point, I hope the company continues to produce more styles and sizes. I highly recommend this bag. This is an excellent quality bag at a reasonable price.
