This small bowl is perfect for storing Little/Xs Dubias. As with any other bowl with escape protection, an escape is still possible (Dubia climb on top of each other to get over the ridge) but I haven't had any problems yet! I believe this can happen if you overfill the bowl. But for my little guy, I usually put 10-12 extra little ones in at a time and keep topping up throughout the day. The panda shape non-slip rug is a really cute and valuable gift that comes with the bowl.

I bought another set from Amazon which includes the pliers I use every day. My kids broke the bowl while playing. So I had to look for a replacement. I was a little upset because I liked what we had. I ordered this one hoping it would be similar to what I had. It was just as if not better! It is a smooth matte finish that is difficult for worms/insects to penetrate. I ordered this for my young bearded dragon to keep roaches, bsfl and other worms in the enclosure for an easy meal. Medium size purchased. Great for my 4 month old bearded dragon. Big enough for him to grow. I don't know what will happen when he grows up, but I'm sure they will still be useful to us.
