Review on 🔊 Fosi Audio TDA7498E: Hi-Fi Class D Amplifier for Passive Speakers - 160W x 2 + 24V Power Supply by Melody Kershaw

I had some doubts that such a small amp could produce a decent sound, but my wife did asked me to find something to replace the full size stereo receiver I was using with my JBL floorstanding speakers. Other reviews were positive so I decided to give it a try. I'm frankly passed out. When it arrived it was even smaller than the pictures led me to believe - it fits in the palm of my hand. I put it on top of one of the two speakers and there's enough room for an iPod and a cable to connect them. The amp drives the speaker well enough to fill a 400 square foot room with very respectable quality and quite loud sound. And then I thought, well, it must be pretty hot since there's no way to get the heat away from this little package. But it's pretty cool to the touch. Pretty amazing.
