These three puzzles are pretty good and will provide hours of fun. The package includes solution instructions in case someone gets stuck. My son struggled with purple and silver/star but was able to solve red on his own. Lila was a bit more difficult than the others, so there are a variety of difficulties in the pack. The star puzzle is made from durable metal that won't bend with use, while the red and purple puzzles are made from wood. I haven't seen any paint chipping on any of them. Given the amount of pieces that Purple and Red break down into, they're not ideal for traveling, but the Star Puzzle is perfectly fine for that. A very good set considering the price. I'm not crazy about riddles, but they were good. For the price this is a bargain.
