I love. This. Mixer. I grind flour myself to make homemade bread, and in recent years I've been using another popular food processor. After changing the worm gear (freshly ground whole wheat flour makes a heavy batter) and about to do it again, I saved up for an Ankarsrum 6230. I was able to bake 2-2.25 pound loaves of bread in my last mixer. , but I can easily bake 4- to 2.25-pound loaves with Ankarsrum when the mixer is barely warm to the touch. This halves the time I spend in the kitchen baking bread for my family of 6! A clear bowl of bats and bats is also great. I've made cupcakes with great results. I recommend watching a few video tutorials before you start as it takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it you will fall in love! By the way, I ordered black chrome. The photos on the internet seemed blacker to me than they really are. It's a dark grey, definitely not black, but I really prefer it.
